Who can become a licensed contractor?
To qualify to become a licensed contractor you must be 18 years of age or older and have the experience and skills necessary to manage the daily activities of a construction business, including field supervision. Or, you must be represented by someone else with the necessary experience and skills, who serves as your qualifying individual.

The contractor or other person who will act as the qualifying individual must have had, within the ten years immediately before the filing of the application, at least four full years of experience at a journey level, or as a foreman, supervisor, or contractor in the classification for which he or she is applying. The experience claimed on the application must be verifiable and individuals who have knowledge of the experience must certify the accuracy of the experience information provided by the applicant.

What browsers and Operating Systems are supported by the online courses?
The online courses are officially supported on Windows 98, 2000, NT 4.0, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Sun Solaris, Linux and are qualified to run on Safari, Firefox 2, Firefox 3 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater.


Are there any special requirements to view the courses?
The online courses can contain animations and audio. To view the courses in the best possible manner, you need the flash plugin. You might already have this installed. If you don't please install the flash plugin. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/


I am unable to view the course content? My Course is not loading?
If your course is not loading it is most likely because you do not have the current version of Adobe Flash Player installed? Please install it at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

You may want to try to use Google Chrome Browser which comes with Adobe Flash Player built-in. You can get it at http://www.google.com/chrome


Can I use an Apple iPhone or iPad?
Because the iPhone and iPad do not support Adobe Flash these devises will not work.


What is the required Internet connect speed to view these courses?
The courses should work on speeds of 56Kbps and above. While broadband internet speeds (DSL, cable etc.) are not required to view these course it is recommended for the best user experience.


What should I do if I am having problems logging in or have other course related problems?

What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
Go the login page and click on the Forgot password link. Enter your e-mail address and submit. You should receive an automated e-mail with the new password. Click on Profile on your left after you login and change your password.
If you do not receive your new password via e-mail please check your spam folder. If you are unable to get your new password, send us an e-mail.
